You've seen other pictures from this series, the black and white ones are the best.Been a rough week at our house. Hubby just found out he's got Walking Pneumonia - and was off two days last week. Himself is just getting over pink eye (with which I had to take 1 1/2 days off work) then this evening when he got home from school he had 104 degree temp. It did come down with Tylenol, so thats something. I'm so thankful I'm healthy so I can take care of everyone else. Except the now we're both scared to take more time off work because honestly, we're worried that too much time off means unreliable and Expendable. F*ck! Its so frustrating.
So I guess I'll just have a beer, watch The Office, maybe an episode or two of Seinfeld, and go to bed. Hopefully things will look better or healthier in the morning.

Oh dear! I know just what that's like, I was in your position last Fall. Bug got sick then husband had pneumonia.... god it sucked. I'm so sorry that in the midst of it all you are made to feel expendable... this fucking economy and state of things. No one should feel that they have to choose between the health of their family and their job. I'll send a lot of healing thoughts your way.
The thing is, maybe my worry is all self-imposed. But they did recently lay off a woman who did my exact same job, but she didn't seem to take days off as much to take care of kids.
I just don't want to give the impression that I'm unreliable - especially since everyone's work load has about doubled in the last 3 months.
But Himself seems better this morning, and Hubby started his anti-biotics, and we all have a weekend to get healthy.
