More Mostly Dead Plant in the Field

I have developed a fascination with taking pictures of dead plants.
They often look sharp and angular, very different from when they were alive and thriving.

You Capture - Autumn

I'm really happy with the way this photo turned out. It was rather windy so I set up the camera with manual focus and shot 4 or 5 times thinking at least some of it will be in focus. Not sure what kind of plant that is.

Someday I hope to grind some coffee and make myself a cup. Its at least 75 yrs old I think. Another shot at my parent's cabin.
