From my backyard and side yard (raspberries), the veggie garden has turned out much better than I thought it would, this year.

Look at the hair on this kid

He really pulled a fast one on me tho. I always told him he could do whatever he wanted with his hair. Little did I know that feeling would change once he wanted to grow it out. I so prefer it short short short. Oh well, he's still a cutie pie.

A Day Off With My Husband

First stop was for coffee.

I know this guy! (I love this guy)

Then we stopped and bought apples.

And saw some birds on the telephone wire.

It was nice to spend the day with him, just the two of us.

Baking With Monstergirlee (Thanksgiving Prep)

Today I baked Banana Bread, Pecan Pie and tried a new technique on my turkey, I went with a Dry Brine. Basically you salt the turkey and let it sit for 3 days. Supposed to be good.

I'm so thankful to have one boy and one girl. They're both so awesome. (coming soon: a moratorium on my use of the word Awesome)

My Favorite Fruit - Raspberries

I picked these in my side yard about 2 weeks ago. In 2002 when we moved in I tried to kill those bushes. Haven't noticed them since - then suddenly this year they are bountiful! This day I picked at least half a pound. And ate them all. Big selfish girl I am, didn't share.

Not A Spring Flower - but Herself Instead

My girl has just so been on my mind, and for some reason this picture really reminds me of her, so I posted it instead. She's eating bo-bo crackers. (Ritz crackers with peanut butter)
