August Was A Great Month

For taking photos. I needed a little blast from this past summer, and found Hot-Rod-A-Rama (actually started looking at it because I read Autumn's post and was inspired) and all sorts of fun photos. I realized too that I haven't been doing enough black and white of late. So I converted a bunch of photos to B&W to scratch that itch. But I do need to head out soon on my own winter photo safari.

Black and White is perfect for this shot. I love B&W pictures, I'm in the process of converting a bunch of family photos into B&W for a wall in my house.

That is a cool shot!
I'll have to share that one with my dad.
This one wouldn't look good in color. Love the vintage look!

Hi--Was just stopping by to say thank you for visiting my blog (per my resolution). Love yours ... and I did vote for you in her photo contest! Yours was my favorite -- I love that you caught the orange light that comes when it is snowing! I love photo blogs so I'll be back!

What a great capture. The Hires bottle rigged into the radiator brings you back to a different time, when people didn't just go "buy a new one", and were ingenious & creative enough to make due with what they had. Brilliant!
