Lately I've been taking pictures of the food I've cooked, just exploring a new area of photography. Its kind of fun.

Baking With Monstergirlee (Thanksgiving Prep)

Today I baked Banana Bread, Pecan Pie and tried a new technique on my turkey, I went with a Dry Brine. Basically you salt the turkey and let it sit for 3 days. Supposed to be good.

And the Turkey, kind of an unappetizing picture but since it was part of the days food prep, here it it. The salt too.

When we were boarding for our flight to Minneapolis, the Pilot was right there and invited my son and another boy to sit up front for a little bit. He got a lesson in flying a plane. Waaayyyy cool.


Some days I only get to take a nice picture if I follow it up with a silly face picture.

I really enjoyed looking at all the photos from summer. Ah, the warmth. The Light.

The blackberries grow wild everywhere around here

I picked a bucket full at Titlow Park, then came home and picked another bucket full in my neighbors backyard. Made a crisp. Damn good berries. (this was 2 months ago or so)
