I think this is some sort of verigated Dahlia. Something about this photo that I absolutely LOVE. From the rose garden at Pt. Defiance. Obviously they have other types of flowers there. Quite lovely indeed.
First of all I must compliment you on your header. I just love it!! Did you ever get a chance to get a picture of the birds in flight? I have a similar blog, hope you will take a look and we can learn from each other.
