Yesterday's Photo Shoot - Baby Belly

From my a photo shoot at my sister and brother-in-law's house. She's about 38 weeks along, and we had so much fun taking pictures. I shot in all black and white and all natural light.

Still have no clue what kind of plant it actually is, but I do like it. And these flowers have the fainest most gentle almost rose-like scent - really wonderful.

April Greeblepix Entry

This is my entry for Awesome Aimee (greeblemonkey) and her monthly greeblepix contest.

I really struggled with an entry this month, for two reasons:

One I'm not that inspired by alot of my photos taken in the last few months. So much so that I went over previously published photos to see if there were any I wanted to share again. But I remembered I had quite a few shots in my camera that had yet to be downloaded - and Viola! This jumped out at me! I played with the color a little bit because it was in shadow, but this really is not an exaggeration of how red this bush is. And I used my new macro which I LOVE.

Second, I have a photo shoot coming up on the 1st and 2nd of May and I need to rent a flash - so I REALLY want to win - LOL!!

Stair Case on the 11th Street Bridge

Trying my hand to play a bit more with my photos to make them look more like I'd like them to look. I turned this to b/w, cropped a bit, added some contrast, and it looks alot better - IMO.

The Need for Speed

She is so funny on her tricycle - she refuses to use the pedals, just tippy-toes along. Quite briskly I might add. Its a little blurry but I like how much movement is shown. I plan to try some more pan shots.

Holy crap I feel like shit. I've got some sort of stomach bug, up all night heaving, in bed most of the day, trying to be up and participate in the kids weekend for a couple hours. Weak, weary, my lower back is killing me. ugh.
