Reminiscent of my Childhood

The sun was shining in the kitchen today as I emptied the dishwasher, and noticed the neat colors of these metal tumblers. I think they're the same kind I drank from when I was growing up. I think they were from the 50's or 60's, made in Italy.

Another from the new toy

One of my favorite kinds of candy, but I rarely see it outside of Halloween, so I'm hoarding it all for myself.

Afternoon

Took a group of neighborhood kids to the closest playground, and of course they left a pile of scooters and helmets to play on the big toys.

Corn Dogs For Lunch

Best Breakfast Smoothie Recipe Ever

One old banana

1 C. blueberries (frozen OK)

1/2 C. vanilla yogurt

2 T protein powder

3/4 C. Soy Milk

Blend until smooth. So good. So good for you.

JUST HAD TO SHARE. Now, I must go drink my breakfast.

The grapes in sparkling water were inspired by two other wonderful photog friends of mine, Aimee at Greeblemonkey and Meghann at Midget Invasion so a quick shout out to two awesome friends - hey girls!

I was taking the grapes photos in the bright sunlight and was playing with stopping down and up the exposures, so they're kind of different colors. I'm not very good at photo editing yet, but I will be someday.

Monkey Bars at Lake Harriet

Very fun, very cool.
Just got back from my parents cabin, such a gorgeous day! Took lots of pictures and I'm pretty happy with them! They'll be coming up in the next few days.
