I just love your latest photos. Not that the others weren't awesome, but somehow, these look different. Richer somehow. What are you doing differently?

Well somewhere in about late august I discovered how to change the white balance in my photos. I'm paying alot closer attention to choosing a shutter speed so my pictures will be clearer. And I figured out how to post big photos instead of the tiny one I used to post. I think all of those things help, because I certainly haven't gotten any better at photo editing.

I think both the depth of field and the leaf combine to make this an amazing picture. And there's something about the fact that it's a lone leaf on the pavement.
