I'm sure this has been talking about somewhere, but the irony of using the very latest in technology to try to make it look so very low-tech is quite hilarious to me. I'm just sayin'....
And I love the new apps that go with it. I know lots of people really like the Hipstamtic, I do too, but I kind of like Shake-It better. Here is one of my fave shots so far.
SOOC is an acronym for Straight Out Of Camera. No editing at all. I usually feel pretty good when I can take a great photo that looks just right, SOOC. Hope you like it too. (are you tired of sunflowers yet?)
Grew tomatoes for the first time this year, it was pretty fun. And tasty. Can't wait to do it again next year. And yes, they are as small as they look but so flavorful. "Matts Wild Cherry" is the variety.
I've been working on capturing the eyes of the people I photograph. Paying extra close attention to the lighting and focus.
This is one I took this morning, and I'm pretty happy with it. I also took pictures of my tomatoes, and a willing Orb Weaver. But I'm only sharing this one of my girl.
And he's starting second grade. We had our traditional Mother and Son Starbucks breakfast, the walked to school together. Next year it'll be with the girl.
About putting up a new post. I have a bunch of awesome pictures from our trip to visit Grandma Freddy and Uncle Brendan and everyone else. I'll try to post them before the end of the week. Sorry its taking so long.
Summer means road trips and camping. Since we didn't camp this past week, but did road-trip, here are some pics from visiting Grandma's house, and a couple from the drive home. Those triple trailers in Oregon really freak me out.
Thanks for visiting! Go to You Capture to check out the rest of this weeks Summer photos!
