And I Managed To Find A Yellow Flower In That Dead Dry Field

Just some crappy weed - but photographs nicely. And I'm adding a subgroup of Yellow Flowers now.

From the field of crunchy brown plant matter next door to where I live

Yields a few interesting surprises when seen through the lens close up. Its so dead it literally crunches when you walk across it. Himself and I were looking for balls. Not his, just any play balls that may have been lost recently. Uh yeah.

Cool and Green

From a walk to Wright Park last week. I love the cool colors, just what we need this week when the temps are supposed to be in the mid-90's. Ugh - hope it won't last too many days.

Last Day of Roses in Rene's yard - for now...

The beautiful rich colors in her roses are stunning. I look forward to photographing more of them. Thanks Rene! I hope you got a chance to check out your roses.

We Interrupt This Regularly Scheduled Rose Post To Bring You Something Really Important...

Happy Birthday Danny!
The next photo is the first I've ever put on my site by another photog - but I thought I'd make an exception in this case since it was taken by my Daughter - of 3 yrs old.

Happy birthday to my wonderful Husband.

Roses in Rene's Yard Day Three

The colors are so rich! I had quite a climbing rose that I just killed because it was Ugly. The blossoms were such a pale pink - my least favorite color for a rose. So yeah, I cut it down. I may have saved it had the colors been more to my liking. Oh I am evil....

Can you stand a few days of Roses?

This is actually two different photos, I didn't realize how similarly I cropped them until they were side by side in my POD folder. Funny. Anyway, these are in Rene's yard. I love love love how there are so many different colors within each Rose. Stunning!

Doesn't it look like the Bumble is climbing up on the flower? More from my neighbor's yard. Thanks Rene!

It Is So Difficult To Take Pictures Of My Kids!

I took 47 pictures while they were sitting there on the edge of the playground. 47! And this is as close to a nice picture as I got. Herself sometimes just refuses to look at the camera. I was lucky Himself was smiling nicely in this one because its the ONLY one where she's fully looking at the camera with a nice expression on her face. I am so grateful for my digital camera and 12g flash card. And my fabulous kids!!!! Oh Yeah. Happy Sunday morning to you.

Yellow and Orange Sunflower

Himself's elementary school has a garden along the playground that pretty much grows freely all summer - and they usually have some wonderful Sunflowers - I love taking pictures of them.

Basket Case

My mom and I did each buy a basket (they were 2 for $30), but the one I bought was not nearly as colorful as these ones. But they do make a nicer photo.

Himself and Best Friend Fieldtrip

Drove in the bus to catch the Bremerton to Seattle ferry, lunched & sketched at the sculpture park, then school bus all the way home. Me not like school bus much. But Himself and the rest of the kids had a great time.
